DR. DAVE BENSON
DIRECTOR – LONDON CENTRE FOR CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIANITY
As a former high school teacher, pastor, organic church founder with his wife Nikki and practical theologian at Malyon Theological College where he directed the Traverse Centre, Dave is passionate about pluralistic dialogue and the public expression of Christian faith in a post-Christendom context, toward the flourishing of all.
This emerged out of his 2016 Ph.D. project, entitled Schools, Scripture and Secularisation, considering the telos of competing curricular visions and the place of Sacred Texts in Secular Education.
Now based at the London Centre for Contemporary Christianity he directs the Centre for Culture and Discipleship, bridging the gap between church and culture by forming a cadre of ‘wise peacemakers’ through a richer conversation, toward holistic witness in the UK.
